GRADE
Megan Kennedy, Charme Freeman (Res), Sally Kay, Raelene Dockrill, Lisa White, Jo Hunter
Round 4 was played at The Australian against Long Reef. The whole team and their caddies were ecstatic with a 5-0 win. Congratulations to everyone. I hear the lunch – a staple favourite- was enjoyed by everyone.
Round 5 was hosted at Bayview. The club received lots of positive comments about the course and the lunch. A highlight was the now-famous Anzac biscuits given to all competitors & caddies at the start of play.
Round 6 this week will be at Oatlands against The Australian. We wish the team all the best of luck and hope they are gathering inspiration from the women playing the Australian Open.

BRONZE II SHIELD
Elizabeth Steel, Gwen Lansbury, Barbara Gavin, Virginia McClelland & Liz Kelly
Bronze II played at Pennant Hills against Ryde-Parramatta. It was a lovely day with many tight matches. Well done Gwen, on playing with a serious shoulder injury and winning her match regardless.
This week, the team plays at Pymble against Oatlands. Wishing you all good luck.

HAWKS NEST CLASSIC
An amazing two days of golf produced wonderful results and plenty of memorable moments for the Bayview players. The highlight of Monday was Kaye Platt’s spectacular hole-in-one on the 5th hole, creating great excitement among the field.

Bayview featured strongly in the prizes on the opening day. Wendy MacCormick finished Division 4 Runner-up and also claimed Nearest to the Pin. Elle Gregory placed 3rd in Division 3, while Liz Kelly secured 3rd in Division 2 along with the Longest Drive. Jane Reed had an outstanding round to win Division 2 with 72.
Tuesday continued the success. Sue Poate won the $5 numbers board, while Kathy Goldsmith finished 3rd in Division 4. Di Doering finished Runner-up in Division 3, and Karen Brown claimed Nearest to the Pin. Jane Reed added to her tally by winning Division 2 Gross with 96. The Best Pair Score for Day 2 went to Marylynne de Jong and Elle Gregory. Megan Rawlings won Best Dressed at the Ruby Red Gala Dinner.

Capping off a remarkable performance, Jane Reed won the Overall Division 2 – 36 Hole event, earning the honour of having her name engraved on the silver tray.
A big thank you to Janine Abrahams and Kaye Platt for organising the wonderful meet-and-greet drinks on Sunday, as well as the fun dinner and prize presentation on the final night, which included plenty of entertaining stories. As always, what happens on tour stays on tour!

NSW SENIOR AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP
The Golf NSW Senior Amateur Championship was played across two outstanding South Coast venues, Wollongong Golf Club and The Links Shell Cove.
Bayview Golf Club was represented in this prestigious championship by Sally Kay, Jo Hunter, Raelene Dockrill and Wendy Harrington. All four players made the cut for the third round.
Sally Kay finished an excellent 9th overall, 3rd in the nett competition and placed 3rd in her age bracket. Jo Hunter finished 4th in her age bracket, while Wendy Harrington placed 10th overall and 4th in her age bracket. Raelene honoured her commitment to the Club Foursome Championship, which clashed with the final day.
Congratulations to all four Bayview players on their outstanding performances.

PLEASE PLEASE NOTE
LEAVING THE GAME EARLY
Your scoring partner leaves the game for medical or emergency reasons. Continue to score them a P (pickup) for every hole thereafter. Before submitting your final score, please check that the Pro Shop has been notified so they can alter the scoring procedure.
STROKE ROUND DISASTER
If you are having a terrible round and you decide you cannot continue with stroke, you may drop down to a Stableford game. To do this, enter a P (pickup) on the disaster hole, then continue scoring as a Stableford round. MiScore will not place you on the leaderboard, but your game will count for handicap. Please note that if you drop down, you are then NOT in any competition of the day.
