Weekend Women’s Foursomes

The event began on 17^th January, and the Div 1 players were well into their second round when the deluge hit. The competition was reduced to one round. The Div 1 winners were Lisa White and Wendy Harrington on 85.

The Div 2 and Div 3 event was postponed to 31^st January, when 8 pairs competed for the trophies. It was a glorious summer day for the event, and wonderful to see the lounge filled with Bayview men and women competitors in the Weekend Foursomes. Congratulations to the winners of Div 2 Robyn Pitt and Jo Pearce on 107, and to the winners of Div 3 Sue Dunn and Wendy McConachie on 121. Well done ladies on your matching outfit. They looked very impressive.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Feb 5 Thursday – OPENING DAY

Opening Day heralds the start of the Ladies Competitions for 2026. The team game will be Irish Stableford- Holes 1-6 one score, Holes 7-12 two scores, Holes 13-18 three scores. We have 83 players for the 8 am shotgun start.

Use MiScore to record scores on your phone, as you would for a normal stableford. The computer calculates the Irish team’s score. You will receive a team card at registration (outside Pro Shop), where you can record your scores to calculate the team’s score. This is only for your interest.

There are lots of new and exciting things planned for 2026, which will be announced during lunch.

Bring some cash

• Envelopes will be on your lunch table for the annual Vet fee ($12)

• Envelopes for Entry to the Eclectic, Birdies and Gobblers competitions (Weekend $5 and Midweek $5).

• Fees will also be accepted by posting a named envelope in the silver post box located in the Ladies’ locker room.

• The 200 Board will operate to raise money for our charity, Lifeline.

Entries have closed, and the draw is available. For all the information about the tournament, please scan the QR code. Please support the Women and Children Charity, which the event champions. Tickets can be purchased online or from the Bayview delegates. 2026 promises to be better than ever. Thank you to our delegates Trish Gillett, Helen Owens and Di Shea, who have worked tirelessly to bring the event to fruition. Good luck to all Bayview entrants. If you are not involved, please volunteer as a spotter on Monday and/or Thursday morning.

PLEASE NOTE

Bicycle Trophy

The entry sheet will be available on Opening Day and then in the locker room. Please add your name to the Big Wheel or Little Wheel (depending on handicap). There will be a random draw to select Bicycle partners – a high handicapper with a low handicapper.
